My name is David Lovins. I was an art school junkie.
I went to art school for many years, so I want to talk about that.
I come from an art family, so I guess I have some opinions about things.
Over time, I will write about many different aspects of art, and of what I learned.
Some things will be fiction, some will be non-fiction.

I am also Bauvy, which is so stupid, but it is the name of my first EverQuest character. I use the name of 'Bauvy' a lot on the web. It sounds genderless, and I like that.
After I was done with art school after all those years, all I wanted to do in my spare time was play video games. They are an art form now.
Art just doesn't matter much in this country, when you look at the grand scale of things. In fact, it doesn't really matter at all. There is no point to it if certain subtleties are lost on people. They don't want to see new ways of looking. They want to see what they already know, and that is the truth. That is why so many people toss off art. It doesn't mean anything to them, and after thinking about it for years, why should it? They've got their sports, and their beer, why should they care? There is no reason.
Anyway, I need to get a beer, really.

The one and only comment I've gotten on this blog is from a guy who invited me to subscribe to his blog, but it is a Christian site, and I could care less. He is more interested in his little, personal agenda, which, even though he might not know it, satisfies his ego to some degree. I looked at his blog, and I couldn't give a crap about his regurgitated spewings.
I am waaaay more interested in being a Viking than a Christian.
Hey, did you know a lot of Christians murdered a lot of Pagans? Thanks a lot, Christians.
As a person, I'm pretty much done with the whole religion thing. My only interest is to make fun of it all, lol.
To be honest, talk of religion just makes me want to drink straight vodka.
